The Advisory Council for Bosnia and Herzegovina (ACBH) would like to welcome Ambassador Jadranka Negodic, the newly appointed Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United States. On July 30, 2012, Ambassador Negodic presented her letters of credence to President Barack Obama. She is a trained lawyer who joined the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs after the Bosnian War. Ambassador Negodic has previously served as the head of the Department for Neighboring Countries, Ambassador to the United Kingdom, and head of the BiH Mission to the EU.
Ambassador Negodic has proven to be a strong leader in the diplomatic community on behalf of BiH, and will work diligently to ensure that the ties between the United States and BiH remain strong. ACBH looks forward to the presence that Ambassador Negodic will bring to the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Washington and looks forward to working with her in the coming months and years.
