"I am pleased to be joining Congressman Christopher Smith as the Democratic co-chair of the Congressional Caucus on Bosnia for the 113th Congress. This position will allow me to continue my work to foster a closer U.S.-Bosnia relationship and fight denial of the Bosnian genocide. For several years, I have hosted the annual Bosnian Women's Day event with the Advisory Council for Bosnia and Herzegovina, which brings Bosnian leaders to Capitol Hill to educate policy-makers about women's issues in Bosnia. I look forward to working with Congressman Smith and the other members of the Congressional Caucus on Bosnia to continue supporting a united, multi-ethnic, and democratic Bosnia and Herzegovina," stated Congresswoman Johnson.
