Last month the BAACBH Executive Director, Ajla Delkic attended a week-long seminar in Washington D.C. titled "The United States Meets Europe: Beyond Mars and Venus: The Transatlantic Relationship in the New World Order." The seminar merged young and influential people from both sides of the Atlantic who are interested in supporting the relationship between the United States and Europe. Some notable speakers at the event included The Honorable Michael Chertoff, former United States Secretary of Homeland Security; Lord Jack McConnell, former First Minister of Scotland; and Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, Ambassador of Croatia to the United States, among many others.
