BAACBH Welcomes New Executive Director

BAACBH is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Ajla Delk ic as the new Executiv e Director. Ms. Delkic was born in Prijedor, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She has previously worked with non-profit organizations, a law firm, and with the women's center Krajina Tear in Sanski Most, Bosnia and Herzegovina where she focused on women's and children's rights. Before joining BAACBH, Ms. Delkic worked with conflict analysts, professional filmmakers, photographers, and local community leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania on projects to foster unity and understanding amongst youth who have recently emerged from violent conflict. In collaboration with The Center for Peacebuilding and the Balkans Peace Park Project, Ms. Delkic along with her colleagues is one of the founders of the Balkans Peace Photography Project. She is an author of a paper on the transitional justice process titled "An Analysis of the Social, Political, and Ethical Implications of Ethnic Cleansing in Bosnia and Herzegovina." Ms. Delkic holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Florida and an M.A. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from the George Mason University.
