Congratulatory Letter to President Obama

November 7, 2012

The Honorable Barack H. Obama

President of the United States of America

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W.

Washington, D.C., 20500

Dear President Obama,

The Advisory Council for Bosnia and Herzegovina (ACBH) along with the Bosnian American community numbering at over 250,000 would like to formally congratulate you on your re-election as the President of the United States of America and we stand ready to assist you in making the U.S. a stronger nation. We look forward to working with your Administration on issues related to the Southeast Europe region and on working towards achieving stability and justice in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

ACBH is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the interests of Bosnian Americans and works to improve relations between the United States and BiH. ACBH advocates for a democratic, multiethnic, and indivisible BiH with a primary goal of advancing the integration of BiH into the European Union and NATO.

BiH is strategically important to the international community and with your continued help we can guide BiH towards the path of long lasting peace and Euro-Atlantic integration. BiH needs strong leadership and guidance from the United States to aid in its democratization process. We appreciate the recent efforts of your Administration, particularly the visit to BiH by the U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton where she reaffirmed that the U.S. supports a multiethnic and sovereign BiH. It is of vital importance that the international community and the U.S. steer BiH towards the formation of a new constitution that will be focused on civic representation rather than ethno-territorial injustices.

Once again, congratulations and we wish you the best in leading our country.

Sincerely,

Admir Serifovic, Esq.

On behalf of the Board of Directors
