Originally from Bosanski Novi, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ida holds a B.A. in Physics and an M.A in Social Work and Gender Studies with a specialization in Non-Profit Management from Loyola University Chicago. She is the President of the Board for the Bosnian-American Genocide Institute and Education Center in Chicago and is a founding member of the BiHDiasporic Conference (BiHDC). Ida has over a decade of community organizing experience and is invested in creating educational spaces and engaging young people in their respective communities. Ida currently works and resides in Chicago, Illinois.
