On April 19th, 2007 the International Republican Institute representatives, Courney Perez, center’s official in Washington and Barbara Broomell, office director in Bosnia and Herzegovina, visited BAACBH. The BAACBH representatives informed the guests about Council’s current activities, especially about the plan for developing and strengthening BiH Caucus in the US Congress and maintaining of American political presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The esteemed guests supported such role of the Council in Washington. The International Republican Institute also works on projects of democratization in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which involve training of political parties as well as strengthening the role of NGOs in political life.
