BAACBH applauds the European Parliament's decision to extend the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) visa-free travel to EU's Schengen zone. The EU Schengen zone is comprised of twenty five European countries. The European Parliament approved the decision by a 538-47 vote
earlier today.The EU Council of Ministers will make the final decision regarding BiH's visa-free travel at their meeting next month.

BAACBH strongly encourages the EU Council of Ministers to grant BiH citizens visa-free travel to the Schengen zone because this will only strengthen the relationships between the citizens of BiH and the rest of the European community. Moreover, granting BiH visa-free travel would be a crucial step for BiH's road map towards EU integration and would be an essential catalyst in promoting stability and political cooperation within the Balkan region.
